Tietoevry wins Microsoft Partner of the Year award for supporting the Finnish healthcare sector in its efforts to become more data-driven

Microsoft grants the award to Tietoevry for demonstrating industry knowledge and expertise in the healthcare sector. Tietoevry’s Data Platform for Health solution showcased true business impact and value for the customers early this year when the Finnish health and social services reform restructured the organization of public healthcare and social welfare.

The Finnish healthcare and social service providers in the public sector have for decades stored data of millions of patients in a digital format in various systems. The utilization of data has been difficult and laborious. In 2022 five wellbeing services counties East Uusimaa, Vantaa and Kerava, South Ostrobothnia, North Ostrobothnia and Satakunta started using Data Platform for Health solution.

It is CE certified and covers all the customers’ use cases, including clinical cases, reporting and research. With the help of the solution the counties can move towards a data-driven healthcare and use it as a foundation for building their own multi-vendor ecosystems. Tietoevry Care’s Data Platform for Health solution is based on Microsoft’s cutting-edge technology and is delivered as a service from Azure.

The purpose of the partner awards is to reward partner companies for their successes and successful work to promote the digitalization of Finnish organizations. This year, 106 countries nominated their candidates for the country partner of the year award, with a total of more than 4,200 candidates. There were 81 partner companies from Finland.
