Following a public procurement process, the City of Stockholm has awarded Tietoevry with the contract for development, administration, and operation of its IT systems. Tietoevry will offer the City of Stockholm an IT environment covering state-of-the-art digital services, including automation and AIOps, to modernize the city’s application and infrastructure landscape, that meets the high regulatory requirements and standards.
The agreement initially runs for a period of seven years and includes options for extension with a maximum of eight years and is expected to represent a potential total contract value of approximately SEK 4 billion over 15 years.
City of Stockholm sets high requirements on security, availability and local capacity, which Tietoevry has responded to by providing local data center solutions and expert teams. In addition, Tietoevry will offer coordination, management and development of city-wide systems as well as those used locally by City of Stockholm's administrations, companies, and foundations.
