The wellbeing services county of Western Uusimaa has chosen Tietoevry Care’s Lifecare EHR as its client and patient information system for primary healthcare, social care, and dental care. As the core system for the wellbeing services county, Lifecare streamlines the work of social and healthcare professionals by providing a real-time, comprehensive view of client and patient information. Currently, Lifecare is used by 15 wellbeing services counties, serving over 3 million Finnish citizens.
Ari Järvelä, Managing Director of Tietoevry Care, highlights that the Lifecare EHR system, combined with Tietoevry Care’s extensive expertise, empowers the social and healthcare professionals in Western Uusimaa county to deliver client and patient focused, equitable, and cost-effective services to the county’s residents.

Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county has approximately 10,000 employees and serves around 500,000 residents.
The deployment of Lifecare EHR will take place in close collaboration with the customer during 2025–2026. Lifecare’s modular structure ensures flexible implementation in easily manageable phases.
